Beneath our Feet
As part of the Warwickshire Open Art Studios, the group I taught earlier in the year had an exhibition at Escape Arts the Old Slaughterhouse. The work they created with me were excellent pieces of worked-into-garments which told a story related to their interpretation of what was beneath their feet. The exhibition also showed work the group had produced with other visiting artists and was a very interesting curated display.

I also put in a piece that I had started as a demo for the group; it was a different way for me to work and I enjoyed exploring the media along with the group. I intend to explore this media further and will develop some gallery pieces based on this piece of work titled “Roots”.
