Awesome day @ the ‘Nuneaton Urban Arts Festival’
Yesterday I was at the Nuneaton Urban Arts Festival running a free graffiti workshop. I also took and displayed artwork produced by my students from North Warwickshire & Hinckley College which helped inspire other budding street artists.
We had such a busy day meeting and talking to some great people and helping to create lots of art by trying out a medium maybe not tried before. The kids, teenagers and adults alike seem to have great fun just having a go on the lettering/tagging wall as well as creating work on cardboard, using a Spirograph , spraying, doodling using Posca and sharpie markers, painting and generally just having fun, experimenting and having a go. Everyone was inspired by the professional street arts who were spraying live during the day, it was great to have a go too.
Thank you to all of you who came along and said hello to me……it was much appreciated.
Here is a load of pictures from the day…….
